Thanks Chris!
Thanks Chris!
I love the extra power I got from my spacer...I keep kicking myself wondering why I took so long to get it!

I highly suggest researching "intake/exhaust" threads... you may, or (likely) may not get good info from this thread... but you will get lots of good info from researching your quest.
Happy modding!

I plan on getting one myself in my spring/summer mod. However I have to get the copper iso thermal spacer since I live in NJ and it gets cold as crap. So that's like 350 bucks as opposed to 200 lol. DAMN YOU COLDNESS!!

is the spacer a hard install, because i have to have the dealer install it, if i dont want the warranty voided and at 100 bucks a hour installation get pretty expensive
I wouldn't say its hard but it is time consuming as you want to take your time when doing it. I did mine and also replaced my spark plugs while I had everything apart.
I think you can find the instructions online somewhere. Print them out and take them to your dealer, ask for a quote. Maybe they will give you a straight up price vs. $100 an hr +however long it takes. Or try another shop if you don't want to do it yourself

I dont understand it seems to me everyone recommends the 5/16" spacer which according to everythingg35.com adds 11-13hp and is cheaper than the 1/2" spacer which adds 12-14hp. What i dont understand is why everyone recommends the 5/16 when it isnt as good as the 1/2. Am i missing something?

Definately get the 5/16" spacer (don't bother with the 1/2" as the 5/16" has proven to give you more power over the entire band vs. just the top end).
Chris, good looking out. Helping the newbs find their way
