Just installed MREV2.... Reset ECU?

I tried the Gas pedal reset in the MREV instructions, but I couldn't get it to work. I REALLY don't want to reprogram all my radio stations (AM/FM/XM), so do you really need to reset the ECU when you install?

You don't have to reset ECU.

I installed the 5/16" plenum spacer yesterday and did the ECU reset. Failed the first few tries too. You should try starting the reset sequence while the car is still beeping when you turn the ignition to ON. The instruction says to wait 3 seconds, but if you wait too long you'd miss it. I began the sequence after the 2nd beep.
