Nismo Exhaust & RT Cats
Nismo Exhaust & RT Cats
Well, I got my car back today after having the transmission replaced and also replacing the stock exhaust. First impressions, the sound is very intrusive. I can see how it could be annoying to some people, honestly I don't mind it. I'm sure the exhaust would sound different without the RT Cats but hell I'm just going to have to deal with it. As for the performance, its hard to say. I want to say there are noticeable gains but because of the new clutch and transmission the car feels totally different. The clutch isn't half as hard to press than it was before. I have noticed that the rpm's get up there pretty quick, faster than they did before . Personally I'm hoping the sound of the cats die down as time goes along but over all I'm pretty satisfied with the set up, I'm debating whether I should put my pop charger back on but I don't know if I could deal with added noise.

I dunno, I wouldn't worry about the pop charger sound wise. Before I did my exhaust, my Injen CAI had quite a voice. But now with the exhaust, I never hear the intake, it's all exhaust now.

Re: Nismo Exhaust & RT Cats
I added a Borla exhaust and cats, and it took 200 miles for the ECU to adapt. Then I definitely felt more power above 3000 RPM. The sound at WOT is very mean, and quite a bit louder than stock.
