Intake mods for HP....!

[QUOTE=MAZyar]how about if i only have the spacer. do i need to do the ecu tune? i think at one point, i reset my ecu, would that cause a loss of hp??

All right Maz, if you've read the post above they've allready made it clear that
you only need an ECU reset if you have headers..test pipes and a high flow
exhaust. This is due to the lean condition that creates. If you have an
'03 or '04 you need MotorDynes spacer, a quality intake (Stillen) and a high
flow exhaust system. (HKS..Fast Intentions..Stillen..Amuse) These items
will give you a very fun car to drive....anywhere

Would MREV2 and spacer void your warranty?

Not if they don't catch you....

Spacer would be fairly easy to see, MREV2, not so much...

It would be very unlikely for a dealer to void your warranty because of a spacer or MREV2.

If you brought your car in for running lean, then yes, they could say it was the spacer (even if it wasn't). But for just about anything else, I can't imagine how they could come up with a "plausible" excuse.

Most dealers already know about plenum mods and they don't have a problem with them when it comes to warranty.

Where they really draw the line is with major things like Nitrous or Forced Induction.

Unless you're getting the air in the cat-back increase in HP is minimal, but
add the Mrev and 5/16" spacer and they both work together to increase
HP and response!
