Ok, so I received the intake as a gift from my friends at a fraternity function and I was happily surprised. At this point, I was unaware of AEM producing an intake for our cars. Does anyone have this particular unit on their car? How is it? How does it sound? How long was the install? ok too many questions now.....any help or info would be appreciated!

I have a nismo intake on my car. This kit is made my aem. I think aem is the oem maker for nismo intake. It not that noisy as other intake. I didn't notice the horsepower increase but the high rpm tend to be little bit smoother.

The install process should be the same as the nismo since the two are pretty much the same. it took me about 2 hours. Check out my ride section and you will see the pictures of the nismo intake.

I talked to jeff(performance nissan) about the nismo intake kit awhile back at a car show in Chinatown. He ask me if he can see how the install look like on the g35. I showed him and he was really impress because the setup look much better on our car than the 350z eventhough the kit was design for the Z.

I have an AEM version 2 cold air intake. I put it on my car about 4 days ago. My car stalls every now and then after i push the cluch in when comming to a stop. Other than that the intake sounds great. When you get up to 5 thousand rpm it really opens up and sounds great.
if anyone knows what the problem with my intake is please let me know?
