any one hear noise coming from there kinetix v plenum. i installed it myself , i did everything right i think. i followed the instructions and everything. is anyone else getting a tap noise. its not too loud but i can hear it in my car. any thoughts or suggestions would help.

 

I'm not talking from any sort of experience but i read that if u tighten it too much then u hear a plenum whistle and possible oil or gas.. one of the two.. squirts... maybe u either tightened it too much.. or not enough. and i read that after market plenum do have a deeper growl at idle...

 

when doing plenum mods and leaving the cover off you will hear sounds that were always there - just never heard because of the cover... this is not to say your sound is normal (I don’t know)... but when I first started running without a cover I heard several things that I hadn’t prior (because of the cover) and everything was confirmed to be normal.
