Pop Charger/Z-tube problem, please help!
So,
I put in my ztube pop charger combo, and it was working great. I drove around for about 30 min, then went to do some work. Went out to drive to a trail for a run, and the damn car shut off going about 65mph!. Tried to start the car, and no luck. I checked my install, it was correct. I had to put the stock intake back on in order to start the car. What is going on here? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Wow, that is wierd. I've had my ztube/popcharger on my '03c6mt for months & never had that happen. Plus, I never reset my ECU. When you checked your install, is the vacuum hose still connected & hose not pinch? Its hard to see the hose. Even if hose fell off, I don't think that would cause your problem. Another thought is that the MAS connection is very close to the aluminum pipe running for the airconditioner. Maybe the MAS connection was touching the pipe & shorting out under speed. Be patient, more will respond with their opinion.

He's right on track. You need to check 2 things. First, check to make sure the MAF harness is attached tighly on the sensor. Second, make sure the idle air bypass hose is not only attached to the Z-tube, it doesn't have any kinks in it. That hose is the only supply for air when the throttle body is closed. The car can't idle if it is kinky. When you are running at constant speed, if it is kinked then the car could run lean and stall.
