This happened to anyone?

After I installed the Stillen catback, you can see below the rest of the mods, two diferent times the car stalled. It only did it when the rpms were above 3-4000 and when I put the clutch in and held it in. With that being said, there was quick drop off in the rpm but the car would not "catch" itself, the rpms seem to just fall through to zero. The car never "studderd" just shut down. I have tried to repeat this but can not. I think it will happen again. Not at all blaming the exhaust but having the stock & greddy evo exhausts w/ mods listed I never had trouble. Maybe the test pipes? Don't care much for their sound anyway. Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

Do a ecu reset and see what happens. It's common for test pipes to throw a CEL (check engine light), and to have raspyness to them. But I have never heard of them shutting down a car. However, the type of stall you got leans me to the ecu being on a difficult learning curve to your new mods. Reset and go from their.

while you're at it, make sure all the connections/bolts are tight in the intake tract.....especially after the maf sensor. my 00 maxima did that and sure enough, there were some loose clamps in the intake after the maf sensor, tighten them down and didn't stall anymore.

600 RPM is nothing to worry about...That's actually very efficient when dealing with a V6
