Hi, I am thinking about getting K&N Typhoon. I searched some thread, and decided to get that before my stillen ground kit. I think that is good decision, right??
my question is I have seen the Typhoon with silver, or polished(I don't know) ones in forum. I have IP and I like to dress up engine department with red and white. I would really like to see both red one and polished one. Is there some difference? would that red color fade away after awhile? Any advice would be appreaciated.

 

and one more thing... would it effect my car warranty??(it's very important)

 

Here'a a pic of my Red K&N Typhoon. (short ram for winter)
The coating is powder coating and should last forever with care.
As long as it's hooked up correctly, it won't void your warranty. Just be careful.

How difficult, if at all was the MAF sensor to remove from it's oem housing? I'm seriously considering moding the 350Z Typhon to work on my sedan.

The MAF sensor switchover was very easy. Unscrew it on the OEM tube, and trasfer to the Typhoon using new screws.
The electrical hookup location for the Z should be about the same for the G.

Here is a pic of the polished Typhoon in an Ivory Pearl G.

When I purchased mine, the only colors for the rubber were black and blue.
