MD Spacer: ISO vs. Basic?

Sorry if this is a reposted question, tried searching, but couldn't find any related threads.

Just wondering if I should spend the extra ca$h on getting an ISO thermal spacer, or does basic give enough performance gains?

Obviously, you appreciate the benefits of the MD plenum spacer. Personally, I would go with the "ISO" option, as well. Anything which aids in lowering the plenum temps is always a good thing. After the ISO component, the Aramid gasket, is installed, you will notice that the upper plenum is much much cooler to the touch when the car is at running temperature. This has been witnessed by just about everyone whom has installed this component, including myself.

Sweeet, thanks man. I was thinking of going with 1/2", but lots of people seem to be happy with the 5/16"

Yep i agree with Andy, additionally the Coolant Control Valve (CCV) is also pretty neat. It helps keep the throttle body cooler too, since you're in SoCal you will benefit from it. I'm in Palmdale and it's been open since the install.
