i was wondering which cats i should get. i live in california, so i want one that is smog legal, plus i have the borla exhaust so i don't want to be extremely loud. i've some bad things about the rt, but not the kinetix. what does everyone think?

No replacement cat is smog legal anywhere. However, the Kinetix and the Crawford will both pass smog tests, and neither will set off the electronics. Some say the R/Ts will too, but they look so different, they probably wouldn't pass a visual. I just had my Crawfords installed, and I must say they are great. I didn't expect a lot of extra power, and really don't feel much. It seems with each succeeding mod, there are diminishing returns. The fitment was perfect. The construction was flawless, and they truly sound great. Deeper and throatier than stock. They don't seem to have the raspy sound that some have complained about. They are lighter than stock also. Because they fit so well, installation was only $40.00. I was going to install them my self, but my ramps are low, and it would have been a pain.

From my research, I believe that the R/Ts flow the best, Crawford 2nd, and Kinetix 3rd.
