PopCharger&Ztube OR K&N Typhoon?

Just curious about the pro's and con's of either?

I am looking to order up an intake and I am unsure wether or not to run the K&N Typhoon CAI or the ZTube with JWT PopCharged?

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Re: PopCharger&Ztube OR K&N Typhoon?

Pardon my ignorance but when you say K&N Typhoon I assume it's a CAI. If so, I'll base my answer on that. Most people will agree that the gains are better and it cost less to do the Z Tube and P/C or K&N drop-in filter combo. I don't know anyone who has dynoed it but I believe that the K&N (along with the other brands) cost upwards of $230. The ZT/PC combo will only cost you about $200. If you want the chrome look and aesthetics are important to you then go with K&N but like I said most people say the gains are better with the ZT/PC combo.

PC doesn't really add too much in the way of performance but the sound is awesome! Also there is this really cool whistle when you go upwards of 3000 RPMs. I vote for the ZT/PC combo.

Check out my pics http://home.comcast.net/~sht79/Gallery.html Disregard the messed up heatshield. I've replaced it since and it looks great!
