Aem Cai

I searched and search.. couldnt find much about them on here... most people are running the INJEN instead. I found a cheap brand new aem intake. Anyone with experiences have any issues with these? its significantly cheaper than the INJEN(what i can find). I dont realy care much about added power, and dont really even care about sound much although it would be sweet. ONly reason im looking at intakes is that I heard the g35 has minor vibrations stock but once an intake is installed the vibrations go away. (my g35 is being shipped to me as we speak.. i'll get it in a few days ip 05 coupe) I'm a noob. be gentle.

AEM is much better than Injen crap. The AEM one is the same one as the Nismo one. I loved my AEM one before I went SC

I've never heard of any "vibrations," ever, from stock intake, nor an aftermarket one fixing those "vibrations."

wrong wrong and more wrong. you gain nothing with either. At least with a CAI you are getting cold air. God this is a newb thread.

no vibrations every. It bolts into place so nothing swings. Jesus newbs search!!!!! I've never had a poblem with any cai I've ever had on any car. The poop charger, stillen airbox, ARC air box are all worthless. The NISMO, the AEM and the Injen CAI's all take air directly from the outside, unlike all of the other intakes. With all of the shot ram intakes you only take out the air box. there's a ton of more constrictive ducting and plastic junk that the CAI rips out.

techincally the ram air vs the cold air..both do the same things ..the advantage the cai has over is when its pulling the cold air not near the motor vs the ram air style...either way..both ways are good...i mean think about it...nissan designed a stock intake that was pretty good cause you cant really get any power in the intake for it been a 6..

Also those big extra craps are there to help reduce the noise level that the aftermarket pieces would give....duh
