Have test pipes installed, Want to go back to stock cats.
The car is an 04 coupe with the stillen true dual exhaust and stillen stage 4 supercharger.
The previous owner told me that he replaced the stock cats with custom test pipes, and that the precats were removed.
Where are the precats? he told me that they were quite large, sorta like the cats. And that i'd also want to reinstall precats and the stock cats.
Are there any issues with running stock cats without precats? Or should I get the precats (anyone have a set?)
thanks!

In theory depending on your state, you can [the judge can] force the owner who violated the Federal Clean Air Act to pay the cost of oem restoration. He committed fraud when selling you the vehicle especially if he presented a passing emission certificate.
Your admitting he told you makes you a party to the violation.
