question to those who have personally installed headers

Looking for info on header installs. We will be installing both clutch /flywheel and crawford headers. My question is about the header bolts. I realize they are studs and I also realize they are very long. I just looked at the arp website and will have to get measurements on the bolts and header flange to get this right. Do you guys who have installed your own headers feel that if you had shorter manifold studs it wouldve been easier to install your headers? let me know I tried searching and came up with squat later mike

got the mesurements m10x 1.25. I dont know the length yet. It is 25 or 30 mm so I ordered 15 of each from arp with washers. I will post up info with pics. I feel this will make header install easier since These are bolts and not studs. Thanks anyways guys. later mike

Mike when I did mine the hardest part was when a stud came out getting the stud back in without cross threading it. If I were to do it all again I would pull the motor in a couple hours instead of cutting up some tools breaking knuckles and would remove alot more stuff to get proper clerance
