Just got a 2003 6MT coupe. Dont have the $$ for FI......for now. Would stillen z-tube, JWT pop charger, and 5/16 spacer be good enough to notice even a tiny bit of power increase? also, would it give it the induction sound thats noticeable at WOT? I just want something to hold me off for a few months, good combo?

 

the spacer will give a noticeable gain in power. The intake is mainly for sound. You wont really get the FI sound because obviously you arent FI but there will be a more deep growl from the engine at WOT.

I just installed a stillen intake, z tube, and 5/16" spacer last weekend. I recorded some sound clips before the mods. I'll try to remember to get some tonight post-mod. Power-wise I really haven't had much of a chance to try it out yet.

 

yeah not looking for much power nor the FI sound, i guess the whole sound-speed connection should do it for awhile until i have the $$ for the turbonetics kit.

 

I'm running a similar set up: Motordyne 5/16 spacer, ARC suction pipe, JWT pop-charger & switched to a Blitz SUS filter ...and people tell me the Blitz filter has a really nice suction "whiz" sound that make's it sound like FI.
