Resenator Questionano...

Soo i searched the forums trying to figure out something about it because today me and a buddy took his resenator out of his mazda 3? And it was this huge "tuba" like thing right behind the front bumper... Only to start reading the forums? And see a ton of people talking about their muffler...

Sooo my question is... Do g35's have a resenator like that? Or what... Maybe its because i dont understand much about cars and what not.. But itd be kinda a nice cheap mod to make it louder and stuff.

Thanks =)

Yes, it is an intake resonator. It is why people replace the g35 intake tube with a Z tube. There is also a resonator under the stock air box. The resonator that is talked about on this forum is an exhaust resonator. Both resonators both serve to quiet the engine down for the general public.

But don't remove your midpipe resonator. It sounds like hell if its removed.
