I need some help

I have been looking at cold air intakes for a while now and i am not sure what brand/ which one to get.

i dont need one that is low to the ground to suck up water cause rain is sorta a problem where i live.

any suggestions???

you could get AEM.. its comes with a water bypass valve sort of thing. I have it on my car and works great.. if water isn't your thing, look into a Ztube and K&N filter or a ztube and stillen airbox... cold air intakes dont really make any horsepower.. what are you looking to get out of it? sound?

Sound is all you will get out of it and a slight gain in engine response at WOT. May be mostly butt dyno but nevertheless great sound. I personally dont like the aftermarket look thats why i went with the JWT + Ztube looks nice and "stockish".

^ why didnt you get the stillen airbox? that looks more stock than the popcharger

well mostly sound and a couple extra horses wouldnt hurt.

see this summer im hopping on doing a bunch of stuff with my car and i definatly wanna get the intake 1st and probably exhaust? and i have been looking at the borola and some others but im still not sure

Go with the ztube + Jwt for the intake. As for the exhuast look into the HKS and Fast Intentions.

from my experience, the only thing you'll gain from an aftermarket intake, at least in the setup on the G, is more dirt ingestion. Just use the oem filter and replace it as recommended.
