hey i just installed my aam angled plenum spacer....i followed the instructions....but when i was done with it i started the car my idle was at 1k and my check engine light came on i went to autozone to c the code....
1 vacuum leak on engine
2dirty throttle body ( I CLEANED IT B4 I PUT THE PLENUM ON IT)
3iac motor defective
4poor electrical connection to the iac motor!!

can some 1 plz help

 

sounds like you either forgot the gasket or the gasket isn't sealed properly

Also i suggest you to reset your ecu so it can learn your new mod, and in the mean time of learning your idle can be weird, i remember i installed test pipes and headers and my car stalled at start up for 2 weeks, and my idle was weird, but after that it went away.

 

recheck all the hose youhave disconnect

 

i didnt reset the ecu i checked everything else!! it is good.....but how do i reset it??

 

One surefire way is to unplug your battery overnight.

 

Double check to make sure all your harnesses are clipped together. good luck!
