Injen Intake Good?
Re: Injen Intake Good?
Injen claims 14 hp on the dyno, but even though I don't think it produces that much I think it produces the most. However, getting more for your money, the pop charger w/ the Z tube is just as good I hear. In the end, both of those are really good.
Re: Injen Intake Good?
The cai is the better way to go and produces a little bit more power. Not enough power for you to feel it, probably just a couple of horses. A lot of people are scared that they will suck in water with the injen cai which is almost impossible unless you drove the car underwater. I have the Injen cai and I love it. I'm very happy that I got that. I can't figure out why somebody would use the Z tube instead of the full cai. I wouldn't take the Z tube just because I want something better, I don't want somebody's hand me downs that they threw away because they used something better. Anyway, try taking a straw and suck up water out of a glass without putting it in the water. It's not possible to do. Even if you took a vacuum cleaner which has a good suction and put it near the water, it's not going to suck it up unless you put it underwater. Hitting puddles and having water splash up isn't going to suck up the cai either.
Re: Injen Intake Good?
I have the Injen CAI. It has it all...Looks, Sound, and Performance. I recently had my 6mt dyno'd. I don't have a stock dyno but with the CAI it's at 237.5hp. Most people have posted stock numbers of around 230hp. I have since added a V5 plenum and will do another dyno run after a few more mods.
