whistling is killing me

i installed my jwt popcharger about 2 months ago and from the first day i have had a whistle from 3-4k if not in WOT. it is getting wayyy too loud now to the point where it is annoying. did i do something wrong? ive heard that it may be that i did not put the clamps on tight enough but i put them as tight as possible and the noise is stilll there. is there anyway to eliminate the whistle? if i cant then im just going to take it off and put on an injen or aem

That is the nature of the beast! Both the Pop Charger and Stillen do the same.
Go back to stock if you don't like the increased intake sound.

Like cato said, its just the nature of an aftermarket intake system.

IMO, its not even that loud. I can bearly even notice mine (Stillen). My exhaust just overwhelms all other sounds out there.

Just take it off. You'll be happier and will have better power at the low end! I took off my Nismo for the same reason, but mainly for power loss with the aftermarket CAI.

I've had my Stillen CAI on for three years and I don't have the whistle you're
refering to. It makes a sound like air rushing but not a whistle, maybe due
to the other few mods I have....I dunnno?

Do you lose low end power with a short ram intake?

I agree, I would not call the sound my Stillen makes a "whistle", its more like a scream at WOT! I love it.
