Homemade Exhaust....?

The 2.50 pipe is the size most commonly used with our cars but how it sounds
will depend on the muffler/mufflers you use. You don't want to have it sound
like a Ford truck so muffler selection w/b critical. Don't forget to use a
cross over that too will effect the final sound....G/L

The stock exhaust is 2.5" so if you split it you need to go smaller or you will lose back pressure and low end torque.

I would strongly suggest some sort of cross-over and not a true dual. It loses you power overall by not working efficiently. Just my .02 from various exhaust specialists I've talked to and know.

Duals are alright if you are running like 3 feet of piping on a racing engine that just spits it out before passing the rear axle. That or you just have immense power already. Our cars aren't that juiced stock so I would go with higher flow of an X-pipe.
