First post and I have to say I've had 2 Mustang GTs a 97 and a 04 and this car is soweet. Anyway, I've just got over my 04 Mustang GT 5 speed black on black which was totaled because a guy ran me off the road. Needless to say I bought me a pole so ya.

I got a Silver on Black Auto G35 and its just so much fun to be honest. This question was asked alot but I think my first mod will be the intake stuff and then maybe the test pipes but I never heard the test pipes with stock mufflers.

Since I came from a v8 I dont want anything to sound too annoying. Sorry, but the v8 Stang with offroad pipes and mufflers was loud but sounds so nice. HKS exhaust doesnt sound too bad but I was something that sounds very smooth and nice. HKS, NISMO?

Kevin

To those ex V8 owners, I've always recommended the Fast Intentions exhaust. All of them have had smiles on so far

Dont waist your money on any so called cold air intakes as they actually do nothing for this motor.I agree with the fast intentions exhaust or the new greddy tic.

for an intake go with the ztube and pop charger or ztube and stillen airbox.

I was looking into the pop charger, some places claim 6hp to the wheels and its cheaper then the cold airs. Since I will take your word superchargedg, cold air does nothing for the motor, pop charger could be the first mod. Guess I will start some pricing on the Fast Intentions exhaust and search for some exhaust sound clips.

Treydawg, ya I miss my 04 Mustang, but the G35 is simply just a badass ride .

Thanks for the replies!

You wont really feel any gains from intakes. Intakes are mostly for sound. Check the marketplace for the Fast Intentions exhaust. You can find some great deals.

Hmm, Exoticspeed exhaust sounds deep and not too high pitched. Hate trying to find exhaust for a car. Wish I could hear one in person though.

Why do you keep on recommending Borla? No one wants a piece of crap exhaust on their car.

OP, go with HKS. You will not be disappointed. GREAT quality. GREAT looks. GREAT sound. GREAT power increases.

DOES NOT get better for an exhaust.

Butt - Dyno approves!
