is the kinetix ssv all show?

i've read a few different things from different people and some say that all the ssv does is look nice and reduce low end power. i plan on going with an s/c soon so a loss in low end power is the last thing i want to do. if it will result in a loss in low end power are there any substitutions? if anyone could help me out with this id appreciate it. thanks.

thanks a lot. i was hearing outrageous claims like 80hp to an FI motor.

how do u like ur vortech sc? i have an 06 too but its auto. ive seen some people complaining that its not enough power for the money. but from what ive seen its much better than the stillen (and looks a whole lot nicer) and its cheaper than the procharger
