i have a aftermarket exhaust and i took out the cats and i have a rasp at high revs WHY?

You took out the cats and replaced them with what? If you put test pipes on you will have rasp, end of story.

i had headers and HF cats w/ my stock. The rasp was there bigtime, after my FI exhaust it's gone and sounds awesome
