03-06 350z engine cover wont fit 07 g35

is it true that a 03-06 350z engine cover wont fit a 07 g35 coupe?
the shop i tried to order the cover from refunded my money because they said the holes wouldnt line up. anyone know this for a fact?

Assuming it fits a 350z correctly, it should bolt right up on your 07 coupe.
