Noob ? about the z-tube. From what year to what year and is there any difference?

Wow! a simple answer must really bother some of the veterans here. Looked at the stickies could find answer for my ? sorry for posting and pissing you off.

 

You can use a Z tube from ANY 350Z as long as its not from an HR motor (dual intakes)

so in other words.. 03-07 Z's

 

It's only the 03-06 Z's, the 07 has the HR motor.

dear Trod02ss, Z-tube is a tube that replaces the intake pipe going from the intake to the throttle body. The stock 03-06 g35 coupes and sedans have resonated tubes for less sound and other unknown purposes. When u replace the stock resonated intake tube with the z-tube, the car gets a bit louder from the intake area and the actuall tube does not have any resonators attached to it. It has a straight through design for more flow.

2003 through 2007 g35 coupes have exactly the same intake tube therefore the 2003-2006 z-tube is a direct replacement for that car.
2003 through 2006 g35 sedans have exactly the same intake tube as the g35 coupe therefore the 2003-2006 z-tube is a direct replacement for that car as well.
