Tony's a good guy and MD is a good company so i wouldn't expect any less.
It has better gains on the Revup. Not so much on the non revup. Hence, it's usually why people just go with the spacer on the non revups.

My point was pretty clear: Just get the spacer and call it a day

IF YOU HAVE A NON-REVIUP ENGINE WHICH YOU DO CAUSE ITS AN 04..

YOU WANT TO GET A 5/16TH SPACER

IF YOU had a rev-up engine you would want to use the combo MREV2 + SPACER

if you got a spacer youd be this

if you jsut got a mrev2 youd be this

sorry bored at work killing time

You are going to drive those guys above (who were trying to help..) nuts soon lol

For your car, and budget, just get a 5/16 isothermal spacer and call it a day... you can do tune afterwards when you have more mods and a larger budget to work with

Hi Guys,

Sorry I didn't reply sooner.

Below are the dyno plots of the MREV2 and spacer and MREV2 with spacer on the non-revup engine.

And this is a link to an independant dyno test. It was a test performed by one of the MY350Z Moderators when the MREV2 first came out.
http://my350z.com/forum/showthread.p...ighlight=mrev2

Note: The 2004 G35 Sedan testing of the spacer and MREV2 was performed immidiatly after a tune so the engine was running healthy at the time of the test.

a good tune alone can give ya some nice gains, so it's hard to say how much of the gain would be from the MREV2 and how much from the tune...

If you did a good tune before adding the parts, yes. You should be able to repeat everything shown in the plots.

And the tune could easily add 7-10 HP all by itself.
