Give me a general idea of what I need to adjust. Is it the way the "hooks" fit into the rubber mounts or do I need to adjust the rubber mounts themselves or what?

Seems like it won't move with the exhaust being tightened down but again, I've yet to get under there and try it.
On the Drivers side canister there is a large band clamp that you can loosen just past the canister. This will cause the drivers side canister to move around and you can center it and position it so that it is perfectly flush with the other one. I had the same issue on mine. You actually don't need to adjust the hangers. According to the guys at FI this is why this band clamp is there.

Edit: actually the hanger and canister should move, not the rubber mount itself.
I've gotta do this today myself. I hate the way my exhaust hangs....

Do you have to jack up the car again do you think there's enough clearance to stick my head and hands down there

Nevermind I got the answer when I called Tony @ Fast Intentions yesterday. He was very helpful and I was able to get my exhaust muffles lowered.

You saw the before...here's the after

Gorgeous. I just f'ing love the FI exhaust to death.

BTW, what's the deal with your rear? Overlay, paint, separate piece or what? Kinda been kicking around the idea of black out back there, not normally my kinda mod but it can look really nice.
