Question Crawford or FI HFC For NA 5AT

I want a quality HFC that's going to give me some hps/torque, + longevity. I have an MD spacer, and just put on a Fujitsubo Y-pipe and exhaust. It's a NA car... My search results and research on g35driver have lead me to Crawford HFCs, or the FI HFCs.

Would YOU personally do a 300/400 cell FI HFC, or a Crawford HFC? If so, why?

After I install my HFCs, should I do a tune?

Can HFCs negatively affect the engine?

I would go with FI (that's because that's what I have ). The build quality is amazing and the customer service is second to none. Customer service is a big thing for me so that was the big deciding factor among FI great reputation with the G community.

Thanks for the advice, and expounding on the 'why' aspect! Customer service is huge to me too... Did you go with the 300 or 400 cell? How's the sound?

Thanks again, I'll consider it! =D

Fi cats are one of the best cats in the market. The build quality and craftsmenship is great.

Dont get a tune unless you are finished with all of your n/a mods.

I dont think HFC will have any effect on the engine at all.

I went with the 400 cell. Sound is great, if you like it loud. But its not a ricey loud. Install was a breeze and everything fit so well, it felt like it was an OEM part. If you have any questions call Tony at Fast Intentions and he will help you out. He does not try to sell you on his HFC and bash others but gives good advice, well at least in my experience.

Good luck on your choice!

Crawford here - tried & true... been very pleased so far.

Either would be a good choice and better than most others.
