Exclamation I need help!! Stock Exhaust Question

I was driving down the road the other day when I hit an object in the road - I thought My car would of passed right over it, however, it didn't.. And now it punched a whole in my exhaust system and I need to know what it is exactly called..

hopefully the picture can help! Its like a mesh material and my car sounds horrible! Plz help

thats your y-pipe sounds like you damaged the flex section and yes it can be replaced with a OEM y-pipe or aftermarkit that will flow a little better

u can check the marketplace. from time to time you see a stock one for sale really cheap. The Sedan and coupe use the same y pipe.

I have a coupe y-pipe (identical to sedan, just off an 05 and barely used) I got by mistake when I ordered a midpipe. If you don't take dmitriylms let me know

actually funny thing is i was putting my midpipe in yesterday and noticed the wicker-looking stuff on top was damaged on mine, but the flex/rubbery looking stuff underneath was ok - do you guys know if this is ok? Sorry to postjack just similar issue

I think it should be ok, but I would still change it to be safe...
