HFC with stock exhaust

guys im having trouble finding soundclips/video of a G with stock exhaust and HFCs.... could somebody point me to one?

also, with such a setup, would different HFCs (i.e. Fast Intentions HFCs vs other brands) make a big difference in the sound, considering the exhaust is the same?

I'm curious too as I'm thinking about doing the same. I don't need more sound, just more performance. I'm guessing there might be a sound change since there should be more exhaust gases moving through the pipes from the cats but with how quiet the stock system is, I don't know if it'll damp it all out. I can find videos with people who have just a coupe mid pipe and HFCs for the sedan but not HFCs alone. I was talking to Tony from Motordyne and their new system is pretty cool in that you can buy a single cat that connects to the end of the Y pipe and essentially just convert the cat mounted down pipes to straight through test pipes. I had no idea their system can do that. Not sure what kind of gains are to be had with a single cat versus one for each down pipe so we'll have to wait and see. I don't think he's put out dyno numbers for that configuration yet.

Ok, if you want to slightly increase the noise with keeping the great stock sound, and free up your exhaust adding a little power, add HFC's preferably Fast Intentions. Just google G35 High flow cats or look on youtube, there should be a bunch, search is your friend.

Dude, theres a lot of videos out there but you have to find them. A lot people on the site arent going to have all the info and quite a few I know will have places that they prefer or such. youtube is a good place to find some stock clips...not many people will have stock HFC since the exhaust is easier to change than the hfc...

The sound wont change too much, unless you start changing around a lot of different components and start comparing to some that are higher quality.

search for vids on youtube i know there are 2 up... as for the brands having different sounds they all are pretty much the same (Berk, Fast Intentions 300cell, Crawford) as for quality thats a different story... you cant go wrong with any of those three though...

i have Fast Intentions 300cell HFC w/stock exhaust and it sounds great nice deep tone and slightly louder than stock
