can you show pics, sound clips, and results... my topspeed is pretty loud but would these actually help with the drone?

here's a thought... Couldn't you have a spring loaded 'valve, that enables you to keep the car quiet when driving normally, yet it opens once the pressure gets to a certain point?

They are fully adjustable so yes you should be able to tune the drone away. The issue would be how much you need to close the valves to get rid of it. I'm hoping to only slightly close the valves and create as little backpressure as possible. When I get it done, I'll post results.

Probablly, not sure how I would do it though. On the controllers I have seen on vette's they work like I have described so that's what I'm trying to build.

For that price, I'd get the ECV from APEXi.

I saw that before and wasn't impressed. Looked pretty flimsy and it didn't look really weatherproof. These things are pretty bulletproof.

It shoudl quiet it down about 15 DB when I have the valve at 20% closed according to my research. The only way to tell for sure is to try it. Another member on here did this a while back and he said it worked great so I'm going to give it a whirl.

It should also get rid of some drone I have at highway speeds.
