911: How do I disconnect O2 Sensor wire in Cat?

Hi guys, I have everything taken apart now for replacing my cats but I can't seem to disconnect the O2 sensor from the harness. I removed it from the retainer on the transmissions but I can't seem to get the o2 sensor plug out of the wiring harness?

Need help - anyone know how to do this?

I can't unplug it. It seems like it is seized in there.I pushed down and pulled pretty hard but it isn't coming out of the plug. I also can't see a push down part on the plug...

Accually now that i think about it i don't think i unplugged mine either. I think i just unscrewed the sensors and left them hanging. I can't remember, but they have a part where you can push down and pull apart.

Didn't bother to take them out, just let them hang. Man what a PITA. Was worried about getting dirt or oil in there so I tried to keep them inside a rubber glove.

Use a Jewlers flat head screwdriver to push the tab down while you pull them apart.

theres a flap that you need to remove before you can unclip them.

5AT Sedan plainer than plain
If you’re trying to disconnect it where the o2 wire clips to the wiring harness connector, I found it easiest to remove the bracket from the oil pan first. Where my thumb is, right at the very end, that is where you need to push down. It acts kinda like a seesaw, pivots in the middle. It was still very difficult for me to pull it apart because I have an oil leak and they were suctioned together from oil being in there. I’m not sure why the engineers decided to put that clip facing up but what can ya do.
