Well, you get an unshielded filter for around $100. I would go with JWT pop charger for a couple dollars more. The heat shield might not be the best, but it is better than nothing. Also the pop charger is 50 state emission legal.

I fail to see how it's any different than the velocity stack that comes with every stillen or jwt units. That K&N filter has a 6" flange. Same dimension as all the others.

You want me to take a serious look at this, then someone needs to chime in on how their unit is different than what's already on the market.
