Stalling at freeway speeds is very common for intakes.

As an experiment, put your stock box back on for a few days and see if the problem goes away. It most likely will.

At least you can trouble shoot the source.

i'm not stalling at freeway speeds. I'm stalling when i decellerate FROM freeway speed like exiting the freeway and braking hard with out downshifting through the gears to keep the rpms up. The rpms tend to drop fast and stall out if i do not engine brake.

Yes. That's how it happens.

Try the stock box for a few days. It will most likely eliminate the problem.

^make sure you don't over oil your filter - I did that once lol and learned the hard way when the engine stalled when it's warming up.

The oil is another common problem with CAI's. The oil comes off the filter as fine droplets when at high load where if flows down the intake tube and to the MAF sensor. The oil gets all over the MAF sensor and it can't function properly.

You may need to clean your MAF sensor.
