I really don't know how much cheaper it will be when we run this group buy. I think it depends on the guy who sells it and how many people are interested. So what do you guys think should we ask bulletproofautomotive for a group buy?

Hey koz,
I appreciate you're efforts at looking into this. I'm thinking against the amuse for now because of the cannister re-locate and the fact that the tips will be too short. I love the fact that it only weighs about 15 lbs. but if I'm shelling out 2K, I don't want any emissions issues and I want those tips to be right. JIC is coming out with a ti exhaust with a muffler and dual tips specifically made for the G. They haven't started production but I think I'll wait for that one. It will be around 25 lbs. though.

That's cool, but even with a extension the tips are still gonna be too short? If so I am against it too. Thanks,

Koz

Yup, the extension only gets the muffler where it should be to hang down from the stock hanger locations. The bumper on the z and g are different. The tips on the z's are shorter than than exhausts made specifically for the g. I wish amuse would make one specifically for the g.

Can't the exhaust shop customize it so it't gonna fit perfect? Man that sucks...

I'm sure that a good muffler shop could cut the tips, weld in additional pipe and re-weld the tips back on. However, I would worry about it being perfect in terms of length, angle, etc. If they mess up, you got an expensive, crooked exhaust.

This is a titanium exhaust guys, it's a little more difficult than your run of the mill "cutting and welding"... Which is why most titanium exhaust use slip fittings and don't weld their joints. If you really like the way this exhaust looks and want to spend less money and have a true dual that works w/ our cars, wait for the Invidia v.2 coming out later this month. Beautiful exhaust.

I've heard about the Invidia exhaust, but have yet to seen it, you wouldn't happen to have a pic of it would you?

This exhaust system is from Japan right? Looks like it's gonna be more expensive. But yeah I would buy it.
