is this the muffler with the "sound changing switch"? if so, what happens if you don't have any more slots available for the sound switch? can that be installed somewhere else?

No, it's the nismo exhaust. The sound changing exhaust is not nismo. It's a piece of crap though, and the price japanparts has for it is crazy
