hey guys, i bet there are other brands that make crank pulleys and are probably cheaper as well. what have you guys used other than UR?

 

I run the AMS light wieght ones, stock size and pretty rare.

ATI makes excellent dampers, but they are expensive...

 

damn 449 for the ATI

 

But it's designed the correct way, meaning it's truely a damper like OEM pulley. There's another make that sells for around $350. Those POS AMS and UR pullies take away ALL dampening characteristics of the OEM pulley.

 

Odd I have both the UR set and an unit similar to the ATI. Haven't decided on which to install. SDgenuius. How hard was it to install the alternator pulley?

IMHO, I think the torque convertor takes alot of the vibrations out from the engine so I was also considering the UR model.
