^ As long as it's a cat-back system, then you're fine, regarding this law.

However, you may no longer pass emissions if you're in Cali.

^ +1

dont drive like an Azz and you wont have any issues with a cat back exhaust..

as far as the HFCs... yes they are illegal.. but check the marketplace... lol

if you want some that is.. and some do pass the Smog test.. but are still ILLEGAL to have on your car.. specially if your stinking up the place with gas fumes.. some cops will notice others wont bother..

Hfcs don't stink up... If they do you will barely notice it...

Test pipes will stink up... To where its more noticeable by cops

But as a person you can live with it

That's good to know.

I guess now the question is which HFC stinks less and passes the smog test!!!!!

Hopefully members understand that high flows don't meet specifications of emission efficiency, thats how they flow higher with less restrictions.

Kind of like using 1990 model year cats on a 2000+ models

More misinformation..:)

Magnaflow is selling their replacement for ORB II cats which will include a
CARB number. I believe if you go to their web site the part number is already
listed. Yes, they are legal HFC's for our G35 coupes/sedans and flow 35%
better than OEM or so they say! But I will no longer recommend using
any Magnaflow products since they laid off their sales force which included my son Chris....screw em I didn't like there exhaust systems anyway....
