Re: DC sport Headers
Super Street also gets advertising dollars from DC as well.....at several thousand a month for a full page ad, it does wonders for product reviews.

Re: DC sport Headers
headers are not best measured "stand-a-lone"... they allow more flow, for other mods to better from rather.......
also , we need to consider LONGEVITY of the headers (in their resistance from cracking at the manifold's flange/main mouints....) if they are gonna fail there, after a short period of time, they're utterly useless.....(common sense, i know)
also to consider is their shape, runner length, composition, weld (and type) , fit and finish (rust resistance), and heating issues.....
guess we need some more guinea pigs for them, and at the price they're selling now, i think it'll be an easy thing to find....
personally, im on the fence about crawford and fujitsubo's monster mash headers....... (I still believe in getting what you pay for )

fuji header, btw:

Re: DC sport Headers
The fujitsubo headers are right hand drive only, they are not made for left hand drive cars.
Frankly I'd buy the Nismo headers for their tubing diameter and collector design before I'd consider the fujitsubo.
The Crawfords may be different, but their design works out to be the best current design. EVO350 is currently R&D'ing headers that may knock Crawford off the top header spot. But I doubt they will be priced within reason.

Re: DC sport Headers
I talked to Doug Crawford.....And he said that the best length for our cars is 28 inches for the headers , But he [Craword] had to settle for 26 inches to get them to fit .So I believe they did the R&D needed to find out what works the best...and he was honest about that they had to settle for some thing less than optimal...Oh by the way I do not have them on my car
Couldnt afford it when young...gonna play when Im old

Re: DC sport Headers
I just picked up an issue of Turbo (Sept. '04) that dynoed the DC Sport stainless steel headers (p42) on a Z. It had an AEM CAI, Invidia exhaust, gound wires and pulleys.
Bottom line was +3.9 max hp and +5.9 max torque. Had better midrange pickup though. +9.1 hp and +12.5 around 3800 rpm.
At $900 (their reported price), it doesn't seem worth it to me.

Re: DC sport Headers
$900 my a$$! They can easily be found (in SS) for around $550 or less - just find someone who stole them from Summit and doesn't really want them...
Anyways, I'm a fan of the Fujitsubo's, and Pro-1 is actually making a header that will basically be a left-hand drive version of the Fujitsubo's - they should be out anytime now... oh yeah, and they're going to be about half the price of the Fuji's as well...
