P1283 still on with nonfoulers
I drove for a few months with the check engine light before buying nonfoulers. I installed them and reset the computer last week, drove 15 miles and the light is back on. I used my scanner and I'm throwing P1283 twice (I'm assuming left and right bank). Any ideas on how to fix this issue? The car doesn't seem any quicker once I reset it and the light is off for a while. I'm just annoyed with it when its on because it just looks like my car is ghetto and the stupid NAV pops up saying to go to a dealer.
Car only has 50K on it and doesn't use any oil to my knowledge. I'm stumped.

Because you have an 04, it suggests you may have a small exhaust leak upstream of the sensors.
Put the car up on a lift while its idling and carefully check for leaks.

Yea, I can hear it when I'm pulling out of the garage. Sounds like the old V6 mustangs that are notorious for cracked manifolds. When I'm accelerating I don't hear anything. I need to get under there and check. Is this code going to hurt anything? I've been driving on it for a while without noticing any gas mileage drop or power loss.
