Aftermarket exhaust preferences..

Ok so ive been doing research mostly just youtubing since its the only way I can hear and compare different setups.
Need some help and also would like opinions on the best sounding exhaust product out there. Want something a little deeper and less like my 17 year old neighbor had his hands all over it.

Most of the videos are of Stillen Gen1/2 and HKS's.
While good products im sure I cant seem to find one that hits my spot.. then I come across this video..

Says its a Stillen Catback (I realize also has CAI) and spacer. Im not sure what the spacer is but maybe what I need to know. The sound in that video is exactly what im looking for. HOWEVER, all the other Stillen videos such as:
(The first is nasty, the second is ok i guess just not what i want)

So whats the difference making that first G (bold link) sound so good, the CAI maybe?
Hoping some experts can pay it by ear and make an educated guess. Appreciate any and all help.

if you like stillen, then go buy the stillen. . .if you don't like it then buy something else. . .

I agree it all comes down to what YOU want as far as style and sound. I personally dont like the sound of the HKS exhaust either. The Nismo sounds like stock, alittle louder which is pretty sick but i didnt like the styling. Its too much like stock for my tastes. I liked the Topspeed but I heard it droned alot and was annoying. The video on youtube of the 350z with it sounded sick. Most people have that exhaust for a few months and sell if for cheap because it annoys them. I went with the true dual Greddy Ti-c with 70mm piping. I liked the style and got a good price from injected performance. If the nismo looked different I would of went with that because it sounds so clean. I'm happy with my purchase. You can find alot of exhausts clips on youtube if you look for a g35 and a 350z..same motor same sound. I liked the stillen true dual its somewhat similar to the Amuse as far as styling, but you have to be a baller to be able to afford an Amuse. There are alot of posts on this subject and alot of clips on youtube. Just research.

are you coupe or sedan? i love my setup: coupe midpipe/hks rear section. even the fiance is ok with it. i wouldn't want it any louder though since i'm ~30 and not into the boyracer exhausts. there is very mild drone at ~2300 in lower gears, but in general it sounds different enough for guys "in the know" to tell it's not stock, without annoying passengers in the back seat (where it's a little louder).

for a $370 (total installed DIY) mod it was money well spent, and i shaved off ~30lbs from the oem system too!

I love my Invidia G200 catback. it's deeper than stock and raspy too (you can always weld a piece between the dual piping to reduce or completely remove the rasp) but I actually sort of like it

I have a tanabe y pipe back system for sale for the sedan. chek out how it sounds on youtube, the one i have has a bigger resonator so the sound is gona be quieter. there is no raspiness with the exhaust, and no vibrations or harshness as well. pm me if anyone is interested.

Motordyne is the best sounding exhaust. I'm a lil partial to it. But after hearing the Fast Intentions & HKS in person. I still feel like made the right choice.

I don't get these threads. Why do people ask US what WE feel is the best sounding exhaust out there? That's all subjective and what really matters is what you prefer.

yes this more where my question was aimed...
They say they are the same exhaust but the one in the bold link sounds much different..the sound I want. I dont want to spend the money on an exhaust that I dont like so im just trying to figure out how that sound was achieved with the same exhaust kit.. sorry.
