On a more serious note, I had this kit installed at GTM on my Z and I love it. Makes driving the car fun even when you get bored of the power. Plus in normal driving it shifts like stock adn does not bother you. good luck

It will work just as it would on a boosted car. When boosted you aren't always in boost and when it shifts it still shifts...it won't be any different than if it were boosted. The only thing is, you don't need a VB upgrade if you're N/A. It would be useless, other than feeling the quick shifts. It won't make you faster.

thanks for the clarification. yea i dont really think its worth it then. Better stick with shorter gears.

Hey i was thinking about this, but wont quicker shifts make ur 1/4th faster, because there will be less lag?

No. You don't make enough power to need to shift fast enough to avoid the rev limiter. The purpose of the VB upgrade is to reduce fluid temp. The fluid in the AT heats up between gears, so the less time it is hunting, the better. The VB upgrade shortens the time between shifts making it feel firmer. The higher the line pressure in the transmission (via higher input RPM), the firmer it will shift.
