stock vs nismo vs stillen

I love my stock G coupe's exhaust tone.
I'm looking to "muscle" the tone a bit more.

as far as performance, I don't plan to push my car, and I don't want it obnoxiously loud, something deep and strong is something that I'd prefer.

I'd also like to keep the exhaust profile minimal, something around a stock look such as a nismo style exhaust would be.
I keep hearing things from people that our cars (coupe) have that exhaust gurgle? and linked here:
https://g35driver.com/forums/reviews...st-review.html
The nismo does it too? or would all exhausts give that gurgle?
My previous car that was modified only did that "gurgle" when I had a test pipe installed..

your inputs?
looks and best sound(s)?

I know this topic has been covered before but with too many threads to read through I was hoping I could just get my questions answered here.

Thank you very much in advance.

There's several things to look for when buying an aftermarket exhaust and
there are only 2 on the market that fit all category's Stillen and HKS. What
I look for is sound, quality, HP gains and looks pretty much in that order. I'm
on my 5th system and I've made some bad choices and 2 were sponsored.
I'm totally happy with my HKS system and that's what I had on my Z for
12 years...it never failed!

If you have a coupe 2003-2007 try looking into the Borla True Dual System..Mine is quiet until you open up the accel. on it..

If you are talking about the Stillen Silver Series (Single Path) exhaust then don't get it. That exhaust does not "utilize 3" tubing" like they say. It necks down to 2 3/8 at some points and is 2.5" in the majority of the exhaust. The only section that is 3" is the small piece right after the y-pipe (about 4 inches long, then necks to 2.5"). This is no larger than the stock exhaust. The Nismo however is a true 3" exhuast, sounds great, and is very high quality.

forget the Nismo unless you can get the actual G coupe one, the modded Z one is hella getto status. go w/the Fujitisubo, they make the Nismo and you can get one that's actually made for the G, for less expensive.

thank you VERY much guys.
Yes I'd prefer a 'stock' look to it..
anyone have a link to this nismo (not the modded Z one)?
Anyone running this with a sound clip please post up!

Thank you very much again. and keep the suggestions coming!

I don't have a sound clip of it, but I do have some pics of it installed on my car in "my garage". You will need the 8" adapter piece for it to fit a G. The "modded" part is the tips being extended out a few inches.....mine have not been extended. You can find sound clips on youtube, just search nismo g35 or nismo 350z.

hrm searching, so this fujitisubo exhaust is same as nismo or am i missing something here?

where can I get the nismo for the G35? I don't want that modded Z one.
I googled it as well as searched on a few sites but they all seem to be throwing me around..
Just a tad bit confused, if someone can point me towards one that would be great, thank you.
