That or a large pocket of gas in your stomach

Sorry OP....no need to reset your ecu...it will learn the new air flow, but with a z-tube, all you are really doing is making the engine go vroom! by removing the large baffel we have with the stock tube. This goes for most/all intakes on the G...they sound great

Resetting the ECU can be done a number of ways...disconnecting the battery for x amount of hours...pedal method. A search will give you all the details.

Good luck

I recently bought the pop charger combo with the z-tube from

http://www.czp.us/Cart/description.p...571.192.67.151

via marketplace.

and since I needed my brakes and rotors changed I had my mechanic install it, well he installed the pop charger but said he couldn't install the z-tube. He said it didn't fit, I told the guys on the phone when I ordered it that I had a 05 sedan. Did I get the wrong tube or what?

It's the right one. Your mechanic didn't install it right. Maybe he had trouble remving the g tube itself. I had issues getting my old one off.

I ended up removing my airbox as well to get the g tube off. After that, it was much easier to install the z tube itself. Everything slid right in and I was able to tighten the clamps etc

okay so removing the airbox would help thanx, but does the z-tube really compliment the pop-charger for sound that is? I got the HKS muffler with the pop charger and it sounds nice.

The ztube is less restrictive vs the stock gtube. So yes. Just remember that the popcharger needs it's heat shield to reduce the problem with heat soak.

If I were you, invest in a revup engine airbox for the best gains. That's what me and many folks in this section are doing for the best gains

when i installed my z-tube, looking down the factory tube revealed no big restrictions. just the little ports for the resonator boxes. everyone makes it seem like theres huge baffles and flow restrictions when there really isnt.
