Air Intake Shopping???

What intakes are guys using? What are good sites for shopping for aftermarket G35 performance parts and does anyone notice a difference when installing one, gas mileage/sound/performance. I tried a search, but am computer illiterate. Any help would be great

Welcome to Driver....read carefully!

It's impossible you did a search using the key word "intake" and didn't find
anything! "If at first you don't succeed, try....try again!" By the way
the Search button is right next to New Posts at the top.

I found you get heat soak with aftermarket short rams (pop charger/stillen), loose some throttle response, and loose some low end torque. However, you will gain about 3 HP in the upper RPM range and do sound good.

I have no knowledge on the cold air intakes.

Look in the marketplace under engine, there are plenty of options for intakes. It seems most people are using the JWT (Jim Wolf Technology) pop charger. I personally got a stillen z-tube and a drop-in after market filter. So far I like it, but will most likely be buying a pop charger to replace my stock airbox.

i had the same questions too and i searched..
according to most ppl here, looks like the z-tube & JWT pop charger is the best way to go.
i know that intake won't make much difference on HP so i guess sound will be the most important part here....
can't some one plz tell me how the set up will sound like compare to the stock one or the fujita one??
thanks

On warm to hot summer days, the car didn't seem to respond as much from a dead stop like with the stock box. So I assumed it was from the heat building up under the hood. This may be a wrong assumption.

Now when it was cooler to cold it was fine. This is just my opinion and I may be wrong assuming that it was heat soak.

i did youtube those video clips, but can't really tell how they compare to each other unless it was recorded down by the same cam, condition, and distances...
anyhow, just wondering if anyone here heard them in person and what's their thought on them.

the car meet is definitely a good chance to hear them... i guess i will look more into that
thanks man
