Sound - well thats subjective and i'm biased, i Have CF FI and have heard Motordynes and still would choose FI, but thats just me

Performance - Motordyne MAY have better numbers, not to sure, but if so only by a couple HP which you will never notice

So IMO overall FI for sure!!!
Thanks, I haven't heard the new MD (shockwave) in person, but from what people have said, it sounds good.

As soon as I think I make a decision, I start second guessing everything.

Go FI. It's what I would have went with if I didn't get my current setup.

I heard the FI on Shanes car and it sounded soooo sexy. He also has test pipes though.....

I've owned them both, and loved them both equally. It all boils down to what you like in terms of tone and look in your exhaust system. If you're in the LA area and would like to hear the Motordyne, you're welcome to come check out my car. You can also do a visual comparo, as I still have the FI system sitting around.

I'm not in LA but thanks for offering, which one of the MD exhausts do you have? Why did you switch them?

Hard to say because I don't know what to compare them to. I asked him about is he afraid of running test pipes. He said since you only have to smog check every 5 years, he'll take them off in 2011 for the test. I guess the rest is just running the risk.

^It's only for a new car you don't need to get a check for the 1st 5 years, then i think it's every 2 after that.

Heres a vid with TP's

Thanks, I'm thinking about doing that as well. I didn't mean how loud is it compared to MD, I just meant how much louder than stock did you think it was.

I have the FI exhaust and Berk HFC. Honestly I didn't notice a drastic difference when I added the cats. It got a bit louder but only marginally. Sounds awesome, no rasp but a bit of drone cruising at highway speeds.
