o-ring from MAF needed when installing pop charger?

do you need to transfer the rubber o-ring located between the stock airbox and MAF when installing the MAF to the new pop charger filter?

O-ring should stick around with MAF housing all the time. I don't know why you want to take them off.

im wondering if others with popcharger, transferred the o-ring also
