help..

Hey guys. Im looking at getting a few parts for my G this coming week.. Been reading up, and alot of people seem to be getting the MREV2 and a plenum spacer. But should i go with the 5/16 or the 1/2 spacer? has anyone had both and decided which is better? im also getting the Nismo CAI.

Need help deciding on the exhaust tho. Either Nismo or HKS Hi Power

And which header should i go with? The one i have been debating is the Nismo R-Tune but is there another good one?

First off what year is your G? if 05+ 6mt then get the MERV2/Spacer combo. now 5/16 or 1/2 thats up to you, 5/16 will give you power all threw out the rpms the 1/2 will give you power at high rpms.

more info at www.MotordyneEngineering.com the owner is on this forum under the screen name Hydrazine aka Tony, send him a Private Message (PM) if you have questions hes a great guy

Intake: are you sure you want Nismo CAI? have your searched other intakes?

Exhaust is all up to you, HKS Stillen Fast Intentions MotorDyne and a few others are good.

Headers are pointless unless you get a tune, DC Sport headers are good remember headers cost and arm and a leg to install.

What about high flow cats or test pipes?

lots of Research will help you in what you want and need

good luck,
-Wes

03 G35 Coupe 6mt

Im doing all the install myself, i have access to a shop and lift. so that part is not a problem.

I have looked into the Stillen, AEM, and the JWT intakes as well. But i am very open to sudgestions. Im looking for the best over all Sound/Performance combination

I do plan on getting it tuned which is why im doing the full exhaust

If you have the non revup the MREV2 isn't really worth it. Better to just get a rev up plenum.

Best sound and performance would be Stillen High Flow airbox/z-tube, its a short ram but has a good heat shield... CAI's tend to lose tq

even tho you have an 03 non revup you may benefit from the MERV2 since you will be getting a tune.

Send a PM to Tony and see what he says
